Own the home without being on call for every stay
It’s Friday evening. One family has checked out, another is on the way, and the cleaner has spotted a problem with the patio door. The incoming guest wants to know whether they can arrive early. If every answer has to pass through you, owning a vacation home means carrying the front desk in your pocket. With Full Co-hosting, Chasing Homestays coordinates the people and decisions behind the stay, and you have a regular conversation with the team looking after your home.
Your first month starts at the front door
We get to know the property well enough to explain it to someone who has never been there. Which entrance is easiest after dark? What should a group know about the sleeping arrangements? What does the cleaner need to check before calling the house ready? Those answers shape the listing, arrival instructions, and turnover routine. Once stays begin, we invite honest reviews and pay attention to what guests actually experienced. An early comment about a confusing entrance can improve the very next arrival.
In month two, pricing gets its own strategy
A strong holiday weekend can disguise a stretch of empty weekdays. We look at the nights that are booking, how far in advance guests commit, and what comparable homes offer on the dates that remain open. Then we adjust the pricing strategy around your property. At your monthly meeting, you can ask which dates we changed, why we changed them, and what we’ll look for before changing them again.
By month three, you can see the whole plan
We bring the early reviews, booking patterns, and market analysis together. Sometimes the smartest next move is inexpensive, like showing a second living room earlier in the listing. Sometimes the evidence points toward an amenity worth budgeting for. We explain what led us to that recommendation and hear what makes sense for you. Monthly owner meetings continue beyond the ramp-up so those decisions have a place on the calendar.
What happens when a stay goes sideways?
Our team handles guest communication and coordinates cleaners and maintenance contacts. If a guest reports an issue, we follow the question through to the person who can address it. If the team discovers damage that may qualify for a platform claim, we help organize photos, supporting records, and follow-up. The booking platform decides eligibility and reimbursement. You can ask what was documented, what was requested, and what still needs attention.
Is this a good fit for your home?
We’re especially interested in distinctive homes with four or more guest bedrooms and owners who want to work together over time. Strong design gives guests a reason to choose the home. A collaborative owner gives us room to act on what we learn after they stay. You don’t have to agree to every improvement. We do want to be able to bring you a specific recommendation and discuss its merits.
For select properties listed under the Chasing Homestays host profile, we can discuss waiving the management commission for the first three months. The offer is subject to property review. Onboarding, photography, and other applicable charges are separate. Ask us to walk through the terms for your home before deciding.
If you already work with a cleaner who knows every corner of the house, tell us during the assessment. Their knowledge can help us understand the property and plan the handoff around upcoming stays.
